My Favorite Visual artist is Zdzisลaw Beksiลski.
Beksinski's art is inspiring to me because he created delicately beautiful scenes like this one, my favorite, while the majority of his art shows a haunted soul hunted by a lingering darkness he had to grow up with in a war torn Poland. He faced his demons and painted them out to show what he was feeling, but in his lighter moments you get this piece below.
"I wish to paint in such a manner as if I were photographing dreams".
He had a talent that connects with me on the level of Beauty, Melancholy, and intense nightmares. He had a rough life, lost his wife, a son's suicide, and his death came tragically at the hands of a rotten thief.
His works will live with us forever.
